This comprehensive treatise on landlord and tenant was one of Jacob's most successful works (first issued in 1713). Jacob, "a native of Romney, Hampshire, received a legal education, and subsequently became steward and secretary to the Hon. Wm. Blathwayt. Jacob was the author of more than thirty works, of which twenty-five were law books. Of all these publications, the only ones now in request are: 1.
