16mo. 80 x 140 mm. viii, 317,  pp. Original full crimson turkey morocco with massed gilt stamping on both covers and spine, all edges gilt, two clasps, black leather spine label; head of spine a bit chipped at corner, clasps missing the movable element, pages trimmed closely with occasional loss, but a very good copy with a lovely period binding. Bookplate of Oscar Ehrhardt Lancaster. Very good. With a fore-edge painting of Richmond Bridge, Surrey. Painted circa 1948-50 by Stevens.
